Future Clubhouse Rentals on Hold
The Clubhouse will be undergoing renovations beginning this Fall. Because of this, all future rentals are on hold until a firm completion date is set. If you currently have the Clubhouse reserved, your rental will not be affected. Club events will be moved to another venue, as needed.

The RRA Clubhouse, located at Beach 1 (13 Roaming Rock Boulevard) is used as a meeting place for many of the Clubs and Groups in Roaming Shores. One of the many benefits to being a member of the RRA is the ability to rent the Clubhouse for meetings, parties, and events. The Clubhouse is very spacious at 3,500 sq. ft. which includes a large meeting area, a fireplace, and a kitchen. Its location offers some of the best views of Lake Roaming Rock! Guests of the member who rents the Clubhouse are permitted to use the facilities located on Beach 1, this includes swimming at the beach and/or the swimming pool (weather permitting). The Clubhouse capacity is approximately 180 sitting and 300 standing.

Rental is $225 plus a $100 security deposit.

You may begin setting up for your party at 9am the day of your party (in some cases, you may be permitted to set up the day before if the Clubhouse has not been rented or is in use). Music must be off by midnight and the Clubhouse must be cleared by 1:00am.

10:00 am: Safe Boating Course

The RRA will be hosting an in-person Safe Boating Course at the Clubhouse on Saturday, April 5th beginning at 10am until 6pm. This course is open to RRA Members and their family.

Earn your Ohio boating certificate! This certificate, which never expires, is required for anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1982, in order to operate any boat or personal watercraft over 10 horsepower in the State of Ohio.

The course lasts eight hours including the test, and is full of information for anyone who owns any type of watercraft or just enjoys being on the water. The course is limited to 30 participants who must be ages 12 and older.

3:00 pm: Meet the Board Candidates


April 6, 2025

The Roaming Shores Association Board has three positions up for reelection this year. The term will run from 2025 to 2028. The seat held by board member Rick Brothers will be vacated. Terms held by Jeff Grosse (current Treasurer) and Nadine Pope (current Secretary) are ending and both are seeking re-election. In addition, two new members have submitted their names for consideration. These candidates are Gerry Dixon and Jim Fell.

The Roaming Shores Pickleball Club has invited all four candidates to the RRA Clubhouse on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 3:00 PM for a Meet Your Candidates event. All Active RRA members (members in good standing) are welcome to attend to hear from your candidates and ask questions. Moderators will present the candidates predetermined questions regarding Lake Health, Fiscal Responsibility, Safety on the lake, and Amenities. Refreshments will be served.

Ballots and voting instructions will mailed out by the RRA office staff on Wednesday, March 26th and must be received back via USPS mail no later than Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The results of the election will be announced at the Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clubhouse.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for our inaugural Community Easter Egg Hunt outside the Clubhouse. The hunt will begin at 10am sharp!

Age groups are 1-3, 4-7, and 8-12.

Mary’s Kitchen Food Truck will be on site during this event serving up some warm and delicious food!

Dues & Assessments Due

May 1, 2025

Today is the deadline for Dues and Assessments. A late charge will be applied following the due date.

Current Boat Decals and Lot # are required on ALL motorized Watercraft that are in the water or docked.

There are several different payment options available.

In Person:
Checks, credit cards/debit cards and cash are accepted at our office location (1875 US Highway 6). There is a 3% fee for credit cards or $5.95 for debit. Our office hours until March are M-F 9am to 5pm. You may also use our dropbox located on the front porch. The box is under video surveillance and emptied daily.

Mail:
You can send your payment via US Mail to P.O. Box 8, Rome, OH 44085. Checks and credit cards/debit cards are accepted. If paying by credit/debit card please use form on the back of the return portion of your statement, there is a 3% fee for credit cards or $5.95 for debit. Be sure to include the 3-digit code on the back of your card.

Bank Bill Pay:
Many banks offer their customer’s bill pay through their website. You can set the RomeRock Association as a payee. If you use this option to pay your Dues and Assessments, please make sure to set your Account Number as your Lot number(s). Your lot number is your property address.

Note: If you already use your bank’s Bill Pay feature to pay your RSV water bill, make sure to create a new, separate payee for the RomeRock Association with the mailing address of P.O. Box 8, Rome, OH 44085 as we are a separate entity from the Village and their Utility Department. 

Member Portal

Our Online Member Portal allows you to view, manage and make Dues and Assessments payments. You will be able to set up recurring or one-time payments through our online portal and save your payment methods to use again in the future.

Additionally, you can check your RRA account transactions, update your resident profile with current information, access the latest documents, utilize contact forms, view announcements and alerts for the community, and much more…

Note: This system is separate from Roaming Shores Utilities water/sewer bills.

In order to access your Portal, we must have a good email address for you on file. Search for the RomeRock Association by typing “romerock” as one word (note: roaming shores will not work). Then enter your email address. Follow the instructions to complete your registration. **Note: There is a fee accessed for paying online per unconsolidated lot. 3% is charged for using a credit card, $5.95 for debit card, and $2.95 ACH payments. There is no ACH fee if you setup AutoPay.

Covered Bridge Rental Pavilion


The large picnic pavilion, located across the covered bridge near Beach 1, is also available to rent. It is the only picnic pavilion that may be reserved in advance. Rental is $50. Please call the office at (440) 563-3170 for availability.

Party Forms

If you will be bringing more than nine guests to either the beaches or the pools, you will need to fill out and return a party form to the RRA Office. Please return your form 10 days prior to your party if you will be using the pools. Pavilions are first come, first served. Only the pavilion located across the covered bridge at Beach 1 may be rented.
