If you are not already a pickleball player, you are probably wondering what all the
excitement is about. Pickleball is an easy to learn game that is played on a court smaller
than a tennis court with a ball similar to a Whiffle ball and a smooth, solid racquet. The
game is a fun and exciting way to get some exercise. All ages and all skills levels are
welcome in pickleball. While it can be played as singles, doubles is more popular due
to the social nature of the game. At this time, covid guidelines that are used for outdoor
tennis will also be applied while playing pickleball. USA Pickleball Association
ambassadors have been invited to the Shores to offer demonstrations including
equipment. It is intended that lessons, clinics, open play and league play will all be
offered to new and existing players.
