Our first snowstorm of the season is a doozy. Not only are we getting several inches of snow, it’s heavy and wet, so it’s been taking down many trees causing road blocks and power outages. Please report downed trees to the RRA Office at 440-563-3170 or reply to this email. If a tree is down on power-lines, please call 911.
Report all power outages to the Illuminating Company 1-888-544-4877 (1-888-LIGHTSS) don’t assume your neighbors have already done so.

Update: The No Wake lights will be turned off the morning of 6/4/19
Due to the amount of rain water we have received, the entire lake is currently NO WAKE. NO WAKE indication strobe lights are located on the Clubhouse, at Beach 2, and at the Marina. If the lights are flashing, the lake is NO WAKE.
Creating a wake while the lake water is high risks damage to docks and boats. Be cautious!

FYI – The intersection of Lake Crest and Morning Star is temporary closed currently while fallen trees are being removed.
On 02-24-2018 at approximately 14:12 the Roaming Shores Police Department was dispatched to the area of Lark Court for a suspicious activity complaint in reference to a male subject who had allegedly swam out into the Lake Roaming Rock and then disappeared. 1/16/18 Update: 6 homes have been located. Despite this, it is suspected that there may be a couple more. One of the biggest indicators of burst pipes is condensation inside windows. If you suspect of problem, please call Vic at 440-474-2302.
The Village of Roaming Shores’ Utility Department is reporting an usually high usage of water. This is a typical indicator of a home that has had frozen pipes that have burst.

Due to the extreme cold and wintery conditions expected this evening, tonight’s RRA Board Meeting at the Clubhouse has been cancelled. The next Board meeting will be held on February 1, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Clubhouse.

12/15/17 Update:
The valve has been fixed and closed.
Attention:
The valve used for lowering the lake level has failed. While there is no danger to residents, the Village is now considering employing pumps to draw down the lake as quickly as possible in order to inspect the damage and make repairs. If your boat is on the lake, please make every effort to have it removed immediately.
