Special thanks to Gayle Zirkle, Chris Plickert, Lee Posiadala, Shawn Morris and the rest of the Polar Bear Club members and volunteers! Clubhouse Repairs Underway

The Clubhouse has been bustling with activity over the past few weeks, but it hasn’t been from parties. The original floor on the East side of the Clubhouse is in the process of being replaced. The Clubhouse was completed in 1967. Many of the areas in the floor were uneven which lead to much of the cracking witnessed on the East end. The West end’s slab was in good shape and did not require replacement.

While working on the floor, we will also be replacing many of the single-pane windows and doors and will be installing energy efficient lights. Once completed, the Clubhouse should be much more energy efficient all around.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Clubhouse work should be completed by the end of February.

Below is a slideshow of the progress up to 2/24/16
