Beaches

Lake Roaming Rock has two sandy beaches, one on each side of the lake. Questions regarding beach operations should be directed to the RRA Office at (440) 563-3170.

Beach 1

The West Beach (Beach 1), located at 13 Roaming Rock Blvd., features a sandy beach with a swimming platform, the RRA Clubhouse, Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion, a fishing cove, two swimming pools (adult and kiddie), a volleyball court, a children’s playground, picnic pavilions and tables, barbecue grills, and a concession stand. It is also the site of our annual 4th of July Celebration!

Beach 2

​The East Beach (Beach 2), located on the opposite side of the lake from the Clubhouse at 1845 Morning Star Dr., features a sandy beach, two swimming pools (adult and kiddie), a volleyball court, a children’s playground, fishing areas, and temporary boat dockage.

Access

Roaming Shores beaches are not open to the public. Use of the beaches is limited to members and their guests. Membership Cards are checked upon entry. Before visiting the facilities, please ensure that your property’s membership account has been created and that all household members have been added and validated.

Beach Rules

  • No littering permitted.
  • No pets are permitted on the beaches.
  • No hanging on the buoys.
  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult when swimming at the beach.
  • Swimming at the beaches is at your own risk.
  • No foul or abusive language.
  • No boats may be parked on or at Beach 1 and Beach 2 except in designated areas.
  • No watercraft to be docked or moored overnight at Beach 1, Beach 2, or any other R.L. lot.

Violations of Beach Rules are subject to the same penalties as Pool Rules, where applicable.

Party Forms

Note:  Each Active Member of the RRA shall be limited to two (2) private parties per calendar year that have ten (10) or more Guests (excluding Clubhouse and rental pavilion).

There shall be no private parties with more than twenty five (25) guests in attendance permitted at properties and facilities (excluding beach 2 and Dawn Park with prior approval) on RRA special use days and other celebrated holidays during the months of June, July, & August. RomeRock Association reserves the right to deny any party or rental request if fulfilling the request would interfere with member use, be advertised open to the public, or exceeds available resources, including parking, staffing, pool capacity, or building occupancy limits.

Note: Parties at Dawn Park will need to obtain a key for restroom access.
