The RRA is currently taking applications for gate guards, concession stand, boat patrol, and maintenance helpers. If you would like to apply, please stop out at the RRA Office during our winter business hours to fill out an application.

The hiring priorities shall be:

1. Individuals who worked for the Association last year.
2. Other Association members in good standing.
3. Children of Association members in good standing between the ages of 16 and 23 with a valid driver’s license.

The Rome Township Volunteer Fire Department is offering free reflective address signs to Roaming Shores residents. There are about 100 free signs available.

Residents are encouraged to have reflective address signs as they aide the fire department in finding addresses at night and help to increase response time.

Address signs are required by the Village of Roaming Shores Ordinances.

If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors this year, you will need to have your nomination turned into the RRA Office by Tuesday, Feb. 28th at 1pm. Nominees must be Members in Good Standing and have attended at least 3 Board Meetings in the past year.

The 2012 Board of Directors Election will be here before you know it. The current Board of Directors has appointed Dave and Ann Byrne as chief election inspectors.

Ann and David would like to request 6 members to volunteer to help count the ballots. Potential volunteers must be RRA members in good standing. Volunteers must make themselves available the Friday before the Annual Meeting (Friday, April 27, 2012) to count ballots.

Please take note that if you are registering your boat with the RRA soon and your Ohio registration will be expiring in 2012, please renew your registration first before obtaining 2012 Membership Identification Decals. Your decals from 2011 are valid until April 30, 2012. We cannot register boats that are due to expire this year.

Remember, you will need to bring both your registration and title with you each year in order to purchase decals.
