The Rules and Regulations of the RomeRock Association have been revised effective 12/17/25 to amend Property Rules (see below beginning on Page 16).

Santa, Joey the Polar Bear, and the Grinch came to town for this year’s Breakfast with Santa! A big thank you to Santa’s helpers from the Polar Bear Club for hosting another fantastic event this past Saturday.

We also extend our thanks to Sacred Heart Church in Rock Creek and the Morgan Hose Fire Department for accommodating this year’s Breakfast with Santa, which was relocated due to the Clubhouse renovations.

We had a great turnout for our Friends & Neighbors Christmas Dinner last Friday! We received many wonderful comments following the event, and the feedback is truly appreciated! It makes all the effort worthwhile. The Christmas spirit was all around. Thank you all for a fun and festive evening!

Due to the renovations of the Clubhouse, the January 31st Board of Directors meeting will be held at 10am at Village Hall (2500 Hayford Rd).

It is that time of year! Tom Fleming has dropped off boxes for toys and jars for monetary donations for this year’s Toys for Tots campaign. Things don’t stop in the Shores just because summer ends. In addition the the Clubhouse renovations and dredging at beach 2, our maintenance crew has recently installed new split rail fencing over at parking lot at beach 1.

Those with a view of the Clubhouse from the lake may have noticed some big changes this past week! Renovations have begun to expand and improve our Clubhouse. The building was originally completed in 1967, just one year after the Association was founded. Since then, it has served as a gathering place for members, clubs, and community leadership, as well as a venue for weddings, parties, and countless events. The RomeRock Association Board has approved a Fishing Club proposal to add fish structures to Lake Roaming Rock.  These structures will improve the fishery, as suggested in a recent study by Jones Fish, by providing three-dimensional habitat for fish to hide safely from predators.  Fish structures also provide surface areas for algae to grow, in turn feeding zooplankton (the favored food of smaller fish), and so on up the food chain.
