The RRA Board and Lake Management Committee have received reports of dead Canada geese on the lake and along the shoreline. The LMC has reported this to the ODNR who indicated deaths of geese have been reported elsewhere in the state both this year and last. Roaming Shores residents have frequently photographed or published sightings of river otters at our lake. To help evaluate the potential impact of otters on the lake fishery, RRA Lake Management recently attended a presentation on otters hosted by Pymatuning State Park. Annual Dues and Assessment billing is here, once again. Invoices will be distributed after the first of the year. There will be no increase in assessments this year, thanks to strong collections efforts and careful fiscal management, which brought in more revenue than last year’s cost-of-living increase.

The Rules and Regulations of the RomeRock Association have been revised effective 12/17/25 to amend Property Rules (see below beginning on Page 16).
Santa, Joey the Polar Bear, and the Grinch came to town for this year’s Breakfast with Santa! A big thank you to Santa’s helpers from the Polar Bear Club for hosting another fantastic event this past Saturday.
We also extend our thanks to Sacred Heart Church in Rock Creek and the Morgan Hose Fire Department for accommodating this year’s Breakfast with Santa, which was relocated due to the Clubhouse renovations.
We had a great turnout for our Friends & Neighbors Christmas Dinner last Friday! We received many wonderful comments following the event, and the feedback is truly appreciated! It makes all the effort worthwhile. The Christmas spirit was all around. Thank you all for a fun and festive evening!
Due to the renovations of the Clubhouse, the January 31st Board of Directors meeting will be held at 10am at Village Hall (2500 Hayford Rd).
