Summer Concert Summer Concert

July 5, 2024Join us at the Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion on Friday, July 5th for a Summer Concert. Swamp Rattlers will be playing. Food Truck will be Cove Creek BBQ.
Concerts are free for RRA Members and their guests only. Concert days are RRA Special Use days which means there will be no parties greater than 25 guests at Beach 1. Membership cards will be checked upon entry. Concerts are tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm to 9:30pm with food service beginning at 5:00pm. Enjoy from Beach 1 or by boat.
The Beach 1 area will be NO WAKE beginning at 5:00pm on concert nights as boaters will be anchoring for the concert. Boaters, there will be an area to park your watercraft marked by buoys near Beach 1. Please park within the buoyed area.

The Annual Roaming Shores 5K will be held on Saturday, July 6th beginning at 8am at the Clubhouse!Come join us during Independence Day Weekend for our Annual 5K and 1 mile fun walk/run! Proceeds benefiting our local Safety Services and the STARS Club who organizes the annual Roaming Shores Fireworks Display and numerous social events.

Day-of Registration/Packet Pickup: 7:00 am – 7:50am
Race Time: 8:00 am
Location: Clubhouse (13 Roaming Rock Blvd., Roaming Shores, OH 44085)
Race Course: 5k - Flat loop around Roaming Shores Village.
1 Mile – Flat loop around Roaming Rock Boulevard. Start line at the Roaming Shores
Clubhouse parking lot (restrooms available).*Shirt guaranteed to those who register by June 24th . Limited supply after June 24th . $2 extra for 2XL and larger.
5K Awards: Overall male and female winners receive trophies. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers in each age group (Male & Female) will receive medals.
1 Mile Awards: 1st place finishers in each age group (Male & Female) will receive medals. 2nd & 3rd place will receive ribbons.

Jason P. Scribben was a senior at Grand Valley High School and died in a boating accident on Lake Roaming Rock on July 4th, 1998. The volleyball court at beach #1 was dedicated to him. Since 1999, the family has held a 3 on 3 Volleyball Tournament in his honor.
This year the annual Jason P. Scribben Memorial 3 on 3 Volleyball Tournament will be on July 6th at the Roaming Shores Beach #1 Volleyball Court. The tournament will start at 1pm and registration will begin at 12:00pm.
Steve Kryznowek is organizing this year’s event. If you have any questions, he can be reached at 440-563-3723.
So please come and join us as we celebrate Jason P. Scribben’s memories and support safe boating on our Lake.

July 6, 2024The Annual Fireworks Display will be Saturday July 6th at 10pm, weather permitting. The rain date will be July 7th. The annual display is made possible by the generous donations of our Membership and the tireless efforts of the STARS Club. The show is best viewed by boat or from the Beach 1 area.

There are a number of ways you can donate. When mailing your Dues and Assessments, you may enclose a separate check made out to the STARS Club, you may donate to STARS directly at P.O. Box 417, Rock Creek, OH 44084, or you may donate via Venmo to @rsstarsclub.Boaters: Please anchor your boats around the buoys (rather than down the lake) for safety and the best view of lower & sky driven displays. Try to be in place by 9:30pm/9:45pm.
**On Fireworks Night, the entire lake will be NO WAKE beginning at 8pm until dawn the following morning.**

July 7, 2024The STARS Club's Annual Cornhole Tournament will be held Sunday, July 7, 2024 on the field between the Roaming Shores Clubhouse Pool & Pavilion. Rain or shine!
