Interested in doing YOGA in the Shores?  A new club is forming to practice beginner’s Hatha YOGA. We will be able to accommodate up to 20 people.  A waiting list will be established, if more than 20 people sign-up.

WHAT IS HATHA YOGA:  It is a wholistic mind-body-spirit approach to yoga combining breath practices, postures and meditation.

WHO:  This class is suited for beginners, although all levels are welcome.  Each participant will work at their own level and pace.  Adjustments can be made for any physical challenges.  All participants will be asked to sign a required waiver at their first class.

WHEN:  Classes will be held in 4 week sessions beginning 6.26.2023 on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3 pm – 4 pm.

Session 1 – 6.26, 6.28, 7.5, 7.10, 7.12, 7.17, 7.19

Session 2 – 7.31, 8.2, 8.7, 8.9, 8.14, 8.16, 8.21

Based on interest and availability of instructor, we may schedule another 4 week session in the Autumn.

WHERE:  We will be practice outdoors in the pavilion at Beach 1.  If weather is inclement, our practice will be held in the Club House.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat, strap, beach towel and block if you have them.  If you would like to practice from a chair, please bring a sturdy, folding chair without arms.

INSTRUCTOR: Michelle Vanderlip, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certified. Substitutes from the Roaming Shores community may occur as needed.
