Clubhouse

Under Construction

The RRA Clubhouse, located at Beach 1 (13 Roaming Rock Boulevard), serves as a gathering place for many of the clubs and groups within Roaming Shores. One of the many benefits of RRA membership is the ability to rent the Clubhouse for meetings, parties, and special events.

The Clubhouse is a spacious at 3,500 square feet, featuring a large meeting area, a fireplace, and a kitchen. Its prime location offers some of the best views of Lake Roaming Rock. Guests of the member renting the Clubhouse are permitted to use the facilities at Beach 1, including the beach and swimming pool (weather permitting).

The Clubhouse has a capacity of approximately 180 seated guests or 300 standing guests.

Reservation and Event Calendar

Please call the office (440) 563-3170 to confirm availability. Clubhouse is rented on a first-come, first-served basis. $100 security deposit required to hold a date.
NO RESERVATIONS ARE BEING TAKEN DURING CONSTRUCTION.

10:00 am: Community Easter Egg Hunt

Due to the amount of interest and enthusiasm received again this year, we will be moving forward with the 2026 Roaming Shores Community Easter Egg Hunt!Event Details:

April 4th 2026, 10:00 AM sharp at the RomeRock Clubhouse, 13 Roaming Rock Boulevard, Roaming Shores, Ohio 44085.

Donations:
This event relies heavily on donations provided by the community. Donations for the event can be dropped off at either of the following locations:

  • Roaming Shores Village Hall, 2500 Hayford Road

  • Rome Rock Association Office, 1875 US Route 6

8:00 am: Cleanup Day

Spring Cleanup Day is Saturday, May 2nd from 8am to noon at the Clubhouse parking lot!

Cleanup Day is your opportunity to get rid of your “unusables”. This event is FREE to residents of Roaming Shores Village. There is NO LIMIT on loads, however, no commercial or landscaping vehicles will be allowed.

General Unacceptable Waste:

• Bricks, Rocks, Concrete, and Cement:
These materials are generally not suitable for standard waste collection due to their weight and composition.
• Yard and Lawn Waste:
While some areas may have separate collection programs for yard waste, it's not usually accepted during standard clean-up days.
• Construction Materials:
Items like lumber, drywall, and other construction debris often require specialized disposal methods.
Hazardous Waste:
• Insecticides/Pesticides:
These chemicals are considered hazardous and require special handling.
• Paint:
Paint and paint cans are also hazardous and should not be disposed of with regular trash.
• Batteries:
Batteries, including those in electronics and appliances, should be recycled or disposed of properly through designated programs.
• Anti-freeze, Oil, Solvents:
These hazardous chemicals require specialized disposal and should not be placed in regular trash.
• Tires:
Tires are not usually accepted during clean-up days and should be taken to designated tire recycling centers.
• Propane Tanks:
These tanks contain pressurized gas and require special handling for disposal.
• Electronics:
Computers, monitors, and other electronic devices contain hazardous materials that require proper recycling.
Bulk Items:
• Appliances:
Refrigerators, microwaves, and other appliances often contain hazardous materials like freon and batteries that require special handling for disposal.
• Car Parts:
Items like car batteries, tires, and engine parts are generally not accepted during clean-up days.
Other Unacceptable Items:
• Dirt, Gravel, Rock, and Sod: These materials are generally not suitable for standard waste collection.
• Riding Mowers: These items are usually too large and specialized for standard clean-up days.

 


Goodwill of Northeast Ohio and Northwest PA will will be available during Cleanup Day to accept donations and provide tax-deductible receipts. Please review their unacceptable items.

Covered Bridge Rental Pavilion


The picnic pavilion, located across the covered bridge near Beach 1, is available to rent. It is the only picnic pavilion that may be reserved in advance. Rental is $50. Please call the office at (440) 563-3170 for availability.


Party Forms

If you will be bringing more than nine guests to any common area, you will need to complete and return a party form to the RRA Office. Please return your form 10 days prior to your party if you will be using the pools. Pavilions are first come, first served. Only the pavilion located across the covered bridge at Beach 1 may be rented.
