Annual Meeting Recap

It was a full house this weekend at the 45th Annual Meeting of the RomeRock Association. Over 80 members came to the meeting to hear about the Association, the tasks completed since last year, and learn the results of the Board of Directors election. Bob Sobczak was re-elected to another term and is joined by newcomer Richard Gainar who has replaced Board Member Joe Petraus.

The membership heard reports from the RRA Board and its several clubs and groups. Members were then allowed to ask questions and state comments. These included questions about the budget, the Beach 2 pavilion, boat patrol, dredging, and the upcoming oil and gas lease meeting to be held May 26th at 1pm in the Village Hall.
Those who stayed after the meeting enjoyed refreshments provided by the RRA, including pizza from Paradise Bay.
