Summer in Roaming Shores begins May 23rd of Memorial Day weekend. Not only is it the opening day for the beaches, pools, and concession stand, it’s also the Opening Celebrations of our 60th Anniversary.
The celebration kicks off at 7:30am with the inaugural Roaming Shores Half Marathon hosted by the STARS Club. This scenic race is USATF certified and loops around the lake while highlighting the natural beauty of the community.
Let’s kick off a safe boating season. Please join us at the Clubhouse Cove at 11:30am to have your vessel blessed for safe voyages this season!
At noon, Members are invited to attend Opening Ceremonies at the Clubhouse, featuring remarks from community leaders, a dedication of the newly renovated clubhouse, and a reception honoring long-time members who have helped shape the Shores over the decades.
he day continues at 2:00pm with a Golf Cart and Bicycle Parade, encouraging residents to celebrate in patriotic style as we make a loop around the Boulevard.
