Halloween in Roaming Shores October 26th

Mark your calendars! Halloween in Roaming Shores will be celebrated Saturday, October 26th! The Roaming Shores Police Department will again be hosting the Annual Halloween Parade! Now is the time to start thinking about your parade float designs and costumes for the costume contest!

The Parade will begin at 3pm. Village-wide Trick-or-Treating will be held from 5pm to 7pm.

Parade Info

If you are participating in the motorcade with a float or decorated vehicle line up will begin around 2:30 on Plum Creek Drive. The parade will promptly depart that location at 3:00.

Parade Costume/Float Contest

If you are dressed up in your costume and wish to participate in the costume contest be sure to look for our judges who will be at the front of the parade. Also, make sure to have some sort of sign with your address on it so that we can find you after trick-or-treat to distribute prize money and photograph the costume contest winners.

A $20 prize will be awarded to the (8) eight best costumes and to (2) two of the best decorated vehicles/floats in the motorcade. An additional $25 prize will be awarded to the overall best in show costume, vehicle or float.
