Rib Cook-Off Recap

The 3rd Annual Roaming Shores Rib Cook-Off sponsored by the S.T.A.R.S. (Social Times At Roaming Shores) Club was another triumph success & sold out within 2 weeks of presale tickets! With the 2020 Winner as going to COVID, everyone was ready to participate, eat, have fun & socialize! It was a fun & friendly rival among the 8 teams and they were able to sample each other’s mouthwatering fall-off-the-bone delicious ribs! This year’s winning team is Smokin’ Pyro with Ken Clark as the Head Chef and team members Chris Sukalac, Brad Wieck, and Casey Clark. They get their name on the plaque, bragging rights for a year, $100 (double their entry fee) & returns next year as a judge on Saturday, September 3, 2022! Start getting your Rib Cook-off Team together! Juicy Bonez” Team with Tom Graham, Kathryn Christoph, Jo Jenkin, and Larry Somrac is the 2021 People’s Choice winner. They got a bottle of Vodka to celebrate!

Our judges this year were Dan Fultz our previous winner, Mayor Jennie D’Amicone representing the RSV, and Board Member Cheryl Fain representing the RRA.
