Halloween 2019 Recap

Be sure to check out the RSPD’s Facebook page or the RRA’s Photo Albums from the Pumpkin Races and the Halloween Party for more pictures from our Halloween Events!

I would like to thank everyone who attended our Halloween events last weekend. We had an extremely low number of participants for the Pumpkin Races, but those who attended as either participants or spectators appeared to have had a great time. The first attempt at anything is usually a bit slow, but I truly expect the event to grow in size exponentially. Congratulations to our 2019 Pumpkin Race winners who are listed below.

0 TO 15 POUND CLASS: Victoria Skaroppa
15 TO 25 POUND CLASS: Parker Krippel
25 TO 25 POUND CLASS: NO ENTRIES
MOST CREATIVE: Parker Krippel and his “Dragon Fire” pumpkin

On the other hand, we had a great turn out for the trick-or-treat after party and costume contest. I would have to say that we probably had double the participants of 2018. Congratulations to our 2019 Costume Contest winners who are listed below.

I would like to thank the communities’ residents, our special groups and our local business for their continued support and donations which ultimately make these events possible. In addition, I would like to personally thank our volunteers; Amy Roskos, Carolyn Beck, Jeanne Clements, Jen Addair, Leeann Moses and her pit crew, Linda Myers, Madison Roskos, Marlene Hocevar and Natasha Raddatz for their decoration/clean up of the clubhouse and/or their preparation of the food and beverages that were served during the event.

I truly hoped that everyone enjoyed this event and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
