With Sympathy: Emily Plickert

ROAMING SHORES — Emily Nicole Plickert, age 17, died on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center.

She was born in Mayfield Heights, the daughter of Karla Drenski-Pierce and Christopher Plickert.

Emily was a Junior at Grand Valley High School in Orwell, Varsity Cheerleader, member of Roaming Shores Polar Bear Club and Youth Group at Believer’s Church. She enjoyed being with family and friends, spending time at “The Shop”, fishing, hiking, singing and dancing, driving back roads, tailgating Browns games, watching sunsets and taking selfies. Also spending daddy’s money shopping and listening to music.

She is survived by her parents, Karla (Jason) Drenski-Pierce and Christopher (Maureen) Plickert; sisters, Erica Kampf and Meadow Plickert; step-brother, Kyle Pierce; step-sister, Brittany Pierce; grandparents, Ron and Karolyn Drenski and Susan Plickert; aunts and uncles, Ron and Daisy Drenski, Kevin Drenski, Christina Kunka, Jamie and Bill Poyer, Brenda and John Timko, Kim Plickert and Mike and Sarah Plickert; and cousins, Chris, Sarah, Leslie, Katie, Austin, Aaron, Alex, Tyler, Logan, Anthony, Mandy, Brooke, Summer, Jenna, CJ, Jordan, Jazzie, and Sophia.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandma, Dorothy Mullen; grandfather, John “Papa John” Plickert; and uncle, Pat Plickert.

Visitation will be held at PAINE FUNERAL HOME INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, on Thursday, Nov. 19th, from 3 to 7 p.m. A private funeral service officiated by Pastor Joseph Cameneti will be held for the family on Friday.

A Public Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Nov. 20th, at Roaming Shores Club House, 13 Roaming Rock Blvd., Roaming Shores, from 1 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at the funeral home in care of Karla Drenski-Pierce.
