Lake Roaming Rock Fishing Club

Did you know that the club will celebrate its 40th anniversary this October? It was founded in 1975. In the months to come, I will publish articles on how the club grew, its heartbreaks and happiness.

But at this time, we should all thank the nine men who started the club and to all of the Officers from 1975 to 2015. They were the backbone that’s seen its ups and downs. But we made it!

Back in 1976, Al Sbrocco stopped over my house and asked me to join the club and I am glad I did. Now I have been President for the last 3 ½ years and a member for the last 38 years. I met so many members in the club, now they are my friends. Today, the membership is 80+ strong.

So again, thank you! And most of all, thank you members who pay their Dues and for their support of the events. Your Officers for this year are, President Ed Baitt, Vice President Dave Emick, Secretary Dave Flaum, and Treasurer Walt Samson.

For the next five months, we will feature more articles about the History of the Fishing Club.
