The valve used for lowering the lake level has failed.  While there is no danger to residents, the Village is now considering employing pumps to draw down the lake as quickly as possible in order to inspect the damage and make repairs.  If your boat is on the lake, please make every effort to have it removed immediately.

Take note: The RRA has requested that the lake be lowered beginning on November 15th. Please make sure to have your boats removed from the lake before lowering begins.

Why lower the lake?

Self-Dredging: If you intend on self-dredging around your dock or seawall, either yourself or hiring a contractor, you will not be required to obtain a permit from the US Army Corp of Engineers.

The RRA will be closing Evening Star Drive by the new Office at approximately 8am on Tuesday, February 21st and will be reopening the road by 4pm. The suggested detour is Rome Rock Creek Rd to Lunar Lane to Long Shadow Lane. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Boaters: Please remember to bring both your Registration AND Title when coming to the office to purchase your 2013 RRA Boat Decals. We do require these documents to be presented each year, no exceptions. Having trouble locating your registration? Check on your boat.
