June 1, 2024(1 event) 5:00 pm: Summer Concert Join us at the Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion on Saturday, June 1st for a Summer Concert. Miles Beyond will be playing Food Truck TBD
Concerts are free for RRA Members and their guests only. Concert days are RRA Special Use days which means there will be no parties greater than 25 guests at Beach 1. Membership cards will be checked upon entry. Concerts are tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm to 9:30pm with food service beginning at 5:00pm. Enjoy from Beach 1 or by boat. The Beach 1 area will be NO WAKE beginning at 5:00pm on concert nights as boaters will be anchoring for the concert. Boaters, there will be an area to park your watercraft marked by buoys near Beach 1. Please park within the buoyed area. 13 Roaming Rock Blvd Roaming Shores, OH 44085 |

June 14, 2024(2 events) 9:00 am: Community Garage Sale – It’s time to start planning for the Annual Roaming Shores Garage Sale! This event will be held 2 days, Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th from 9am-4pm. Sign up here. We will add your address to a list with a street map so that visitors will know where to find you. Signs will also be available at the RRA Office that may be posted to your mailbox or at the end of your street. If you do not want people parking in front of your property, please post No Parking Signs. Note: If you are having a garage sale, you are not required to sign-up. If you don’t sell all that you were hoping to during the Garage Sale. Goodwill of Northeast Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania will have trailers available after the sale to collect donations. Trailer Locations – June 15th 3pm – 5pm
If there is no attendant when you arrive, DO NOT leave items.

Come join us during Independence Day Weekend for our Annual 5K and 1 mile fun walk/run! Proceeds benefiting our local Safety Services and the STARS Club who organizes the annual Roaming Shores Fireworks Display and numerous social events. Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2024 *Shirt guaranteed to those who register by June 24th . Limited supply after June 24th . $2 extra for 2XL and larger. 5K Awards: Overall male and female winners receive trophies. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers in each age group (Male & Female) will receive medals. 13 Roaming Rock Blvd Roaming Shores, OH 44085 12:00 pm: RSPD Cardboard Boat Races
The Roaming Shores Police Department will host their 6th Annual Cardboard Boat Race at Beach 1. “THE CHALLENGE”: to design and build a person-powered corrugated cardboard boat capable of racing a 200-yard course, in Lake Roaming Rock. Boats may be powered by canoe paddles, oars, kayak paddles, approved mechanical paddlewheels, sails and raw muscle power. Jason P. Scribben was a senior at Grand Valley High School and died in a boating accident on Lake Roaming Rock on July 4th, 1998. The volleyball court at beach #1 was dedicated to him. Since 1999, the family has held a 3 on 3 Volleyball Tournament in his honor. This year the annual Jason P. Scribben Memorial 3 on 3 Volleyball Tournament will be on July 6th at the Roaming Shores Beach #1 Volleyball Court. The tournament will start at 1pm and registration will begin at 12:00pm. Steve Kryznowek is organizing this year’s event. If you have any questions, he can be reached at 440-563-3723. So please come and join us as we celebrate Jason P. Scribben’s memories and support safe boating on our Lake. Beach 1 10:00 pm: Fireworks Night! The Annual Fireworks Display will be Saturday July 6th at 10pm, weather permitting. The rain date will be July 7th. The annual display is made possible by the generous donations of our Membership and the tireless efforts of the STARS Club. The show is best viewed by boat or from the Beach 1 area. Boaters: Please anchor your boats around the buoys (rather than down the lake) for safety and the best view of lower & sky driven displays. Try to be in place by 9:30pm/9:45pm.
