This mother's day weekend, May 9th at 12pm, join the STARS Club for a Purse Bingo at Sacred Heart in Rock Creek! This event is open to all Members and their guests. Must be 18 years or older and be registered to participate.

We will play 10 games with each winner receiving a brand new or like new (used once or twice) designer purse!

Your $35 ticket gets you 10 Bingo sheets (3 cards per sheet) and light refreshments. BYOB!

Additional cards will be available for purchase the day of the event. Additionally, we will be holding a Basket Raffle and a 50/50.

You can signup/pay via Venmo @rsstarsclub or mail a check to STARS at P.O. Box 8, Rome, OH 44085. Pre-Registration ends May 8th.

Following the tremendous success of our annual 5K, the STARS Club of Roaming Shores is excited to announce a new Half Marathon planned for Saturday, May 23, 2026, Memorial Day weekend, to kick off and celebrate Lake Roaming Rock’s 60th Anniversary!

While our Annual 5K will continue to be held on July 4th, the Half Marathon is intentionally scheduled earlier in the season to help runners avoid the summer heat.

Participants will enjoy a mostly flat, scenic course winding around beautiful Lake Roaming Rock. This event builds on the strong participation and success of previous Roaming Shores athletic races and introduces an exciting new endurance challenge to our community.

USATF Certified Course

Whether you’re racing for a PR or soaking in the views, this is a milestone anniversary event you won’t want to miss.
