    Interested in doing YOGA in the Shores?  The Roaming Shores Yoga Club practices beginner’s Hatha YOGA. We will be able to accommodate up to 30 people.  A waiting list will be established, if more than 30 people sign-up.

    WHAT IS HATHA YOGA:  It is a wholistic mind-body-spirit approach to yoga combining breath practices, postures and meditation.

    WHO:  This class is suited for beginner’s, although all levels are welcome.  Each participant will work at their own level and pace.  Adjustments can be made for any physical challenges.  All participants will be asked to sign a required waiver at their first class.

    WHEN:
    Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

    WHERE:  We practice indoors at the Club House at Beach 1.

    WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat, yoga strap, beach towel/blanket and 2 yoga blocks if you have them.  Note – the floor is hard, so you may find it useful to double mat.

    If you would like to practice from a chair, there are plenty of folding chairs at the Club House.

    INSTRUCTOR: Michelle Vanderlip, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certified. Substitutes from the Roaming Shores community may occur as needed.

    Summer Concert

    Join us at the Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion for a Summer Concert. The band for the evening will be Thunder Creek with food service by Blowin' Smoke BBQ!

    Concerts are free for RRA Members and their guests only. Concerts are tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm to 9:30pm with food service beginning at 5:00pm. Enjoy from Beach 1 or by boat.

    Concert days are RRA Special Use days which means there will be no parties greater than 25 guests at Beach 1. Membership cards will be checked upon entry.

    The Beach 1 area will be NO WAKE beginning at 5:00pm on concert nights as boaters will be anchoring for the concert. Boaters, there will be an area to park your watercraft marked by buoys near Beach 1. Please park within the buoyed area.

  • 60th Anniversary - Family & Kids Day

    Sunday, June 14th is Family & Kids Day. We'll have fun activities all day for all ages. Planned events include beach yoga for kids and parents, face painting, Danimal - the balloon blowing clown, Jungle Terry, Fro Yo Food Truck (free item for 1st 100 kids), and free hotdogs & burgers.

    The Rock Creek Public Library will also be setup with a table beginning at 11am.

    Interested in doing YOGA in the Shores?  The Roaming Shores Yoga Club practices beginner’s Hatha YOGA. We will be able to accommodate up to 30 people.  A waiting list will be established, if more than 30 people sign-up.

    WHAT IS HATHA YOGA:  It is a wholistic mind-body-spirit approach to yoga combining breath practices, postures and meditation.

    WHO:  This class is suited for beginner’s, although all levels are welcome.  Each participant will work at their own level and pace.  Adjustments can be made for any physical challenges.  All participants will be asked to sign a required waiver at their first class.

    WHEN:
    Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

    WHERE:  We practice indoors at the Club House at Beach 1.

    WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat, yoga strap, beach towel/blanket and 2 yoga blocks if you have them.  Note – the floor is hard, so you may find it useful to double mat.

    If you would like to practice from a chair, there are plenty of folding chairs at the Club House.

    INSTRUCTOR: Michelle Vanderlip, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certified. Substitutes from the Roaming Shores community may occur as needed.

    It’s time to start planning for the Annual Roaming Shores Garage Sale! This event will be held 2 days, Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th from 9am-4pm.

    If you plan to participate - Sign up! We will add your address to a list with a street map so that visitors will know where to find you. Signs will also be available at the RRA Office that may be posted to your mailbox or at the end of your street.

    If you do not want people parking in front of your property, please post No Parking Signs.

    Summer Concert

    Join us at the Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion for a Summer Concert. The band for the evening will be Swamp Rattlers with food service by Cove Creek BBQ!

    Concerts are free for RRA Members and their guests only. Concerts are tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm to 9:30pm with food service beginning at 5:00pm. Enjoy from Beach 1 or by boat.

    Concert days are RRA Special Use days which means there will be no parties greater than 25 guests at Beach 1. Membership cards will be checked upon entry.

    The Beach 1 area will be NO WAKE beginning at 5:00pm on concert nights as boaters will be anchoring for the concert. Boaters, there will be an area to park your watercraft marked by buoys near Beach 1. Please park within the buoyed area.

    Pickleball Open Play (Competitive)

    Recreational players: Open Play Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (10:00 AM start time when temperatures are expected to exceed 85 degrees)

    Competitive players: Open Play Sundays 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by a Ladder Competition 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Ladder sign up required at the courts by 5:30 on the evening of play); additional competitive Open Play hours Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

    All skill levels are invited to Open Play on Saturdays from 9:00 to 11:00 AM

    Pickleball players in The Shores may join the group on the TeamReach app using the code "RSPBClub."

    Contact the club with questions or for more information about the availability of equipment and instructions shorespickleball@gmail.com. All RRA members are welcome at pickleball and there is no club fee.
