Join us this summer as we celebrate 60 years of Roaming Rock Shores! Below is our tentative event schedule. Times and details will be updated as items are confirmed.
This year Lake Roaming Rock turns 60 years old! Join us for 3 weekends of events as we celebrate this milestone! Opening weekend is May 23rd, Founding weekend is June 13th & 14th, and Independence Day weekend in July 4th & 5th.

The celebration kicks off May 23rd with the inaugural STARS Roaming Shores Half Marathon. Following the tremendous success of our annual 5K, the STARS Club is excited to host a new Half Marathon to kick off and celebrate Lake Roaming Rock’s 60th Anniversary!
Join us beginning at noon on May 23rd in the Clubhouse for our opening ceremonies. Hear opening remarks from the 60th Anniversary Committee, RRA President, and Mayor; we will also dedicate the Clubhouse; and hold a reception honoring our longest owning members.
On May 23rd at 2:00pm, we'll hold a Golf Cart Parade. The parade will lineup at the Clubhouse and make a loop around the Boulevard. Decorate your Golf Cart or Bicycle in Patriotic flare as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary and Memorial Day.
Join us on Saturday, June 13th of our Founding Weekend for a Water Ski Show at Beach 1. There will be 2 shows at 2:00pm and 5:00pm. Grab some food from one of the food trucks which will be on site from 1:00pm and into the evening! Be sure to stick around for a concert featuring Thunder Creek at 6:00pm.
We have concerts scheduled all summer long!
Sunday, June 14th is Family & Kids Day. We'll have fun activities all day for all ages. Planned events include beach yoga for kids and parents, face painting, Danimal - the balloon blowing clown, Jungle Terry, food trucks, and free hotdogs & burgers.
On July 4th, the STARS Club will host its Annual 5K and 1-mile race. The race begins at 8am. Join us for one of the biggest races in Ashtabula County!
On July 4th at noon, the Roaming Shores Police Department will host the Annual Cardboard Boat Races.
Join us on July 4 as we honor the memory of Jason Scribben and promote lake safety at the Annual Jason Scribben Memorial 3v3 Volleyball Tournament. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. The tournament begins at 11:00 a.m. Entry fee: $30 per team
Come celebrate the 4th of July, America's Birthday, and the pinnacle of our 60th Anniversary celebration with our Annual Fireworks Display, sponsored by the STARS Club.
Details TBD Head down to Beach 1 on Sunday, June 14th at 10am for a Beach Yoga session centered around kids and families.
Get your family and friends together for a fun sand sculpture contest at Beach 1. This event will be held on July 5th beginning at 10:00am.
The STARS Club will be hosting their Annual Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, July 5th. The tournament will be held on the field between the Roaming Shores Clubhouse Pool & Pavilion (13 Roaming Rock Blvd.) Rain or shine. Check-in and Registration starts at 12 Noon, Tournament starts at 1:00pm. (You’ll be able to practice after checking in.) Registration is $20 per Person.
