RRA Hosts the Fall OLCA Conference

Last week, the RRA had the honor of hosting the Fall Conference of the Ohio Lake Communities Association (OLCA).

OLCA conferences provide an opportunity for lake communities like ours to come together, share ideas, attend breakout sessions, and learn from one another.

We had an amazing turnout from our officials, volunteers, and staff. Thank you for your help in showcasing what a great community we have here in the Shores!

This marked the RRA’s third time hosting the Ohio Lake Communities Association since its founding in 1969, previously in 2007, 2016, and now in 2025.

Congratulations to our own Dave Ernes, recipient of the Rick Lavinsky “Do Something, Not Nothing” Award!

This award honors the legacy of Rick Lavinsky, a longtime OLCA member and general counsel who believed strongly in taking action over inaction. Dave embodies that spirit through his many years of dedicated service on the RRA’s Lake Management Committee. Congratulations, Dave!
