EutroSORB Application

One of the new additions to the Lake Management Plan for 2025 is to try to control the algal blooms that were more intense in the area of Spanish Cove. AquaDoc will be applying a product known as EutroSORB G to this cove during the week of April 14. This product is a fine clay suspension that is modified to trap phosphorus which can drive the algal blooms. The exact day of the application will depend on the weather. Once added, the water will look brownish, but will settle over time. If you are in this area and notice that the water looks brownish, please avoid the area. Turbulence will alter the settling and interfere with the effectiveness of the application.
