Reasons For Desiring To Be On The Board Of Directors:
I have been an active in several ongoing projects that I want to continue to lead. I have a strong committee that I’m working to develop a “New Member Orientation” program to be offered twice annually. I am the Director in charge of entertainment bookings for the new Kathy Crandall Pavilion. I’m working with a vending company to bring beverage machines to each of the pool areas. I attend almost every public activity in Roaming Shores. I want to continue to work with a group of volunteer leaders that are going the right things for the community without personal agendas.

Reasons For Desiring To Be On The Board Of Directors: I have a strong desire to preserve the health of the lake. Having lived in a private lake community previously, I would like to initiate new activities to further what has already been promoted in our community.

Reasons For Desiring To Be On The Board Of Directors: My wife and I made the decision to relocate to Roaming Shores and it was not a decision that we made lightly. As a new resident of Roaming Shores, I believe I can bring a new perspective that is impartial and objective to the Board and the community. My career in Education for the past 38 years has allowed me to work with many different organizations, both in the schools and the community. My experiences are varied and have included working city governments, union organizations, planning and finance commissions, architectural review boards and many neighborhood homeowners associations and parent organizations. I welcome the opportunity to serve on the Board and contribute to the ongoing growth of Roaming Shores as the community continues to evolve. I appreciate your consideration in reviewing my application.
Hobbies: My hobbies include water activities, soon to be fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with my Family.
Involvement in Committees and Clubs: I have been involved in numerous committees and clubs during my professional career. I have also been the President of a homeowners association and am looking forward to participating in the clubs and activities that are offered to the residents of Roaming Shores now that my wife and I are full time residents.

During that time I also worked for Chardon Schools as an administrative assistant and Auburn Career Center in the Adult Education Department assisting adults to earn their GED. I also served two terms as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Geauga County Township Association.

Reasons For Desiring To Be On The Board Of Directors: I think we live in an amazing community and I really want to continue to try to make a positive difference. I want to continue to work on collection of delinquent accounts as well as lake health and lake safety.
