With Sympathy: Ronald Kotnick

rkotnickCONNEAUT — Ronald W. Kotnick, age 68, of Conneaut, Ohio, formerly of Roaming Shores, Ohio, died at his home on Nov. 16, 2014.
He was born in Monroe Township, Ohio, on May 7, 1946, to John and Grace (Reed) Kotnick.
Ron was a Chemical Operator at Lubrizol Corp. in Painesville, Ohio, for many years until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Shirley Kotnick on May 16, 2013.
His survivors include: daughters, Stephanie (Warren) Browning of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Heather (Kevin) Price of Rexburg, Idaho; son, Brian Kotnick of Cheyenne, Wyo.; step-son, Michael (Kathy) Hartz of Middlefield, Ohio; step-daughters, Brenda (Glenn) Haist of Roaming Shores, Ohio, and Rhonda (Jeff Haynes) Steen of Andover, Ohio; brother, John (Nancy) Kotnick of Conneaut, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ron enjoyed golfing, woodworking, boating, playing pool, and was a champion Ping-Pong player. He especially enjoyed family and friends to the fullest, and held an annual 4th of July party.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, Nov., 22nd, from 11 a.m. until the time of Services.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, at BAUMGARDNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ohio.
