Based on feedback from prior participants, we\u2019re changing the structure to be a little less demanding for the chefs with more options for participants eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Think you have the best ribs around? Here&#8217;s your chance to prove it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The STARS Club is excited to host<strong> Rib Fest<\/strong> on <strong>Saturday, August 29, 2026<\/strong>, at the RomeRock Association Clubhouse. Whether you&#8217;re a seasoned pitmaster or simply enjoy cooking for family and friends, we invite you to join the competition and let the community decide who serves the best ribs in Roaming Shores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chef Registration Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Registration Deadline:<\/strong> Extended to the 1st week of Aug<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entry Fee:<\/strong> $35 (includes one dinner ticket)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Limited to 15 chefs\/teams<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People&#8217;s Choice Voting<\/strong> will determine this year&#8217;s champion.The winning chef will receive a prize and earn a permanent spot on the <strong>STARS Club Winners Plaque<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>To make participation as easy as possible, the <strong>STARS Club will provide five slabs of ribs<\/strong> to each registered chef. Ribs can be picked up on <strong>Wednesday, August 26, or Thursday, August 27<\/strong>, giving competitors plenty of time to prepare their entries.<br>All ribs must be cooked off-site and ready to serve in the Clubhouse by <strong>4:00 PM on Saturday, August 29<\/strong>. You may finish off your ribs at the Clubhouse area using any of the grills that are open or using your own cooker. Bring your own fuel.<br>Each chef will have a serving station, and attendees will exchange tasting tickets for individual rib bones as they sample the competition. Chefs are responsible for providing their own seasonings, sauces, grills, smokers, utensils, and cooking supplies. The STARS Club will provide warming trays, aluminum foil, and paper towels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>If you&#8217;ve been looking for a fun way to show off your barbecue skills, this is your chance! Your dinner ticket will get you 6 rib tastings, sides, and N\/A drinks.
