If you are interested in dedicating some time to serve your community, consider running for a seat on the RRA Board of Directors. This year, there will be 2 open seats. In order to have your name on the ballot, you must present your written request, <strong>bearing the original signature<\/strong>, to the RRA Office no later than <strong>Wednesday, February 28th at 1pm<\/strong>. You will then be sent additional paperwork to fill out and campaigning rules.\u00a0 Please include a statement of 100 words or less.\u00a0 This information may be used, all or in part, during election time.\u00a0Qualifications for becoming and maintaining a Director are found in Article VIII, Section 2 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/wp-content\/uploads\/bylaws-rev12-7-17.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">By-Laws<\/a>*.<br><br>To qualify as a candidate, you need the desire to give some time to the administration of your property owners\u2019 association and be an active member (not delinquent).\u00a0 You do not have to be a full-time resident of Roaming Shores.<br><br>Two positions are to be filled for 2024.\u00a0 All terms are for three years.<br><br><em>Note: The 3 meeting requirement has been waived.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Election Timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Feb 28, 2024 \u2013 1 P.M. deadline to have name placed on ballot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>March 29, 2024 \u2013 Ballots must be postmarked prior to 1 P.M.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>April 24, 2024 \u2013 Balloting closed at 1 P.M<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Arranged \u2013 Committee counts ballots at Clubhouse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>April 27, 2024 \u2013 Annual Meeting at 1 P.M.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Election time for the Board of Directors is almost upon us.
