The silt pond was implemented several years ago to catch sediment before it has a chance to enter the lake. After a few years, the pond is emptied of its collected silt in order to catch more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/wp-content\/uploads\/silt-pond-10-10-13.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/wp-content\/uploads\/silt-pond-10-10-13-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"silt pond 10-10-13\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/wp-content\/uploads\/silt-pond-10-10-13-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/wp-content\/uploads\/silt-pond-10-10-13.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dredging work was also performed in Marina Cove. 20 truckloads of siltation have been removed so far. <\/p>\n<p>Currently, dredging work is being performed from the shore.
