{"id":1782,"date":"2013-03-25T11:28:06","date_gmt":"2013-03-25T15:28:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/?p=1782"},"modified":"2013-03-25T11:32:33","modified_gmt":"2013-03-25T15:32:33","slug":"2013-safe-boating-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.roamingshores.org\/RRA1\/2013\/03\/25\/2013-safe-boating-class\/","title":{"rendered":"2013 Safe Boating Class"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, March 23rd, about 34 students participated in the Boating Safety Committee&#8217;s Safe Boating Class held at the Clubhouse. <\/p>\n<p>The course was taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary, with help from some of our members and ODNR Watercraft Enforcement. <\/p>\n<p>The course, as well as successful completion of a comprehensive test, are required by the State in order for those born after January 1, 1982 to operate a watercraft.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to Bruce Bower, Joe Palombi and Ed Baitt for organizing the event!
