Cowdrey, 62, passed away March 11, 2013 at home.<\/p>\n<p>Born November 28, 1950 in Willoughby, Ohio the son of Eugene Cowdrey and Shirley Smith and was a lifelong area resident. He married the love of his life Tina VanKell in 1984. Robert worked as a utility maintenance worker for Roaming Shores for over 13 years. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Robert is survived by his wife, Tina; sons, Heath (Sara) Buchanan of New York and Christopher Cowdrey of Roaming Shores; daughter, Christina Cowdrey of Roaming Shores; his mother, Shirley Warsing of Painesville; sisters, Gail Nau and Debbie Cowdrey of Painesville, and Susan Cassell of Perry; and his grandson, Jackson Buchanan.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Cowdrey and his brother, Thomas Cowdrey.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2 to 5 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Rock Creek Fire Hall, Main St., Rock Creek, OH.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family.<\/p>\n<p>DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula is handling arrangements. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Obituary courtesy of Ducro Funeral Services: Roaming Shores- Robert L.
