  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together cake mix, eggs and pie filling. Put into a greased 9" X 13" pan. Sprinkle nuts, chocolate chips and brown sugar on top.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9" X 13" pan with nonstick spray. In large bowl using hand mixer, beat together the ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth. In another large bowl, mix together your cake mix according to box directions. (The following directions are correct, the layers "switch" during baking time.) Pour cake batter into prepared pan. Spread to fill pan evenly. Once cake batter is in place, carefully pour the cheese mixture evenly over top of cake batter. Spread to cover cake batter as best you can. Bake the cake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, remove and cool completely. Stir pudding mix and milk, whisk till combined, fold in cool whip and spread over cooled cake. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours. It tastes even better the next day!!

  1. Grease 9 X 13 pan. Preheat oven - 350 degrees.
  2. Combine Jello, eggs and cold water. Beat well. Add cake mix and beat smooth. Add oil and beat smooth. Bake in 9 X 13 pan for 35 minutes
  3. FOR GLAZE: Mix ingredients until smooth. While cake is hot, poke it with a fork (any pattern will do). Brush on glaze with a pastry brush.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Blend until the mixture resembles crumbs and set aside 3/4 cup, press the remaining mixture into the bottom of an 8" square pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Combine the sugar and the cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat until smooth, add the egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla, beating well. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust. Sprinkle the reserved 3/4 cup of crumbs over the top. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator and cut into bars.

Crust
  1. Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter and shortening. Add 6 - 7 Tbs. water so the dough holds together. Gently knead the dough. Turn onto floured board and roll to about 3/8" thick. Cut into 5" squares.
Filling
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Place 3 to 4 tablespoons filling on each square. Fold into triangle, wet inside edges with a small amount of water. Press edges together and seal with a fork dipped into water. Make 3 slashes in each turnover so steam can escape. Place turnover about 2" apart on a greased cookies sheet. Bake 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 15 minutes longer. NOTE: you can frost or glaze the turnover if you want a really sweet treat.
