August 12, 2024Interested in doing YOGA in the Shores? The Roaming Shores Yoga Club practices beginner’s Hatha YOGA. We will be able to accommodate up to 30 people. A waiting list will be established, if more than 30 people sign-up.
WHAT IS HATHA YOGA: It is a wholistic mind-body-spirit approach to yoga combining breath practices, postures and meditation.
WHO: This class is suited for beginner’s, although all levels are welcome. Each participant will work at their own level and pace. Adjustments can be made for any physical challenges. All participants will be asked to sign a required waiver at their first class.
WHERE: We practice indoors at the Club House at Beach 1.
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat, yoga strap, beach towel/blanket and 2 yoga blocks if you have them. Note – the floor is hard, so you may find it useful to double mat.
If you would like to practice from a chair, there are plenty of folding chairs at the Club House.
INSTRUCTOR: Michelle Vanderlip, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certified. Substitutes from the Roaming Shores community may occur as needed.

Summer Concert

August 17, 2024Join us at the Kathy Crandall Entertainment Pavilion on Saturday, August 17th for a Summer Concert. Band and Food Truck TBD
Concerts are free for RRA Members and their guests only. Concert days are RRA Special Use days which means there will be no parties greater than 25 guests at Beach 1. Membership cards will be checked upon entry. Concerts are tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm to 9:30pm with food service beginning at 5:00pm. Enjoy from Beach 1 or by boat.
The Beach 1 area will be NO WAKE beginning at 5:00pm on concert nights as boaters will be anchoring for the concert. Boaters, there will be an area to park your watercraft marked by buoys near Beach 1. Please park within the buoyed area.
