This year, Friends & Neighbors and the Promotion Club are teaming up for the Free Hotdog Night and Social Hour. This event will take place on Friday, July 12th from 5pm – 7pm. Please note that this will be held the week following the 4th of July Celebration.
There will be Free Hotdogs, Chips, and Juice courtesy of Friends & Neighbors, the Promotion Club, Bob Gregory, the Crandalls, and Mike Hamper!
Heads up to Roaming Shores Residents: There have been multiple bear sightings recently on both sides of the lake. It may very well be the same bear.
Be sure to take proper precautions when going outside. Black bears do not like loud noise, yelling, banging, etc. But they DO love bird seed. You may want to consider moving your feeders and outdoor trashcans indoors.
The Annual Roaming Shores Fireworks Display will be on July 4th at 10pm (Rain Date on July 5th).
From 9:30 to 10:30, tune your boat radios & home stereos to 104.7 WKKY. 10pm Fireworks begin with Fireworks Music.
The Fireworks are fired off from Beach 2 and are best viewed by boat or from the Beach 1 area (West) overlooking the lake towards Beach 2 (East).
Thank you to our 5 sponsors who donated towards broadcasting the fireworks music accompanying the fireworks.
