ROAMING SHORES — Kenneth Sbrocco, age 80, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, after a short illness.
Born on July 30, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Clement and Mary (Innaccio) Sbrocco. Ken was formally from Lyndhurst until he moved to the Roaming Shores in 1995. He graduated from Collinwood High School, Class of 1950 and was married to Cherie (Evans) Sbrocco for 54 years.
Retired from Clark Control, Ken was the president of the North Coast Winnebago Club and enjoyed traveling afar. Living on the lake, he spent time fishing and boating. During his spare time, he was a woodworker and met with the fellows in the ROMEO Breakfast Club.
Survivors include his wife, Cherie, and children, Tracy (Michele) Carter of Silver Springs, Md., Terry (Wade) Munday of Atlanta, Ga., and Scott (Carol) Sbrocco of Ransey, N.J.; brother, Donald Sbrocco of Bluffton, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan Sbrocco.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7th, at THE PAINE-GUERRERIO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076.
A family greeting will take place prior to services from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Ashtabula County Animal Protection League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. Envelopes will be available at the services.
