The following is a brief summary of this Private Lakefront Community.

When you purchase property (with or without a house) you automatically became a member of the RomeRock Association. Upon payment of all fees and the filing of required membership documents, you are then able to enjoy all RRA facilities.

Largest private lake in Ohio with 22 miles of shoreline, including a three-lane paved boat launching ramp.

We are protected by the Village of Roaming Shores Police Department.

Our roads are maintained by our RomeRock Association maintenance staff.

Some of the other amenities which can be enjoyed are: 2 Volleyball Courts, 2 Sandy Beaches, 4 Swimming Pools, 2 Baseball Fields, 4 Basketball Courts, 8 Picnic Pavilions, and 2 Tennis Courts.

With the help of our outstanding maintenance crew, our modern restrooms and picnic areas at all the beaches and pools are maintained. Now add to this a 3500 sq. ft. Clubhouse with fireplace, a private marina with dock rental, boat sales and service, 2 children's playgrounds, municipal sewer and water, and 30 recreational lots for Lake access, and you can see why this is truly a wonderful place to not only own property, but to live. Upon purchase, all members share in the benefits afforded by certain covenants and deed restrictions that insure continued enjoyment of the area both now and into the future.

The Association is operated by a 7 member Board of Directors that is elected by the membership. Daily operations are run by a full time General Manager supervising an office staff, a maintenance department, swimming pools, concession stand, and Boat Patrol personnel (during the boating and swimming season).

The Association has the responsibility for the care and maintenance of Association properties:

• Clubhouse
• Office
• Maintenance Buildings
• Maintenance Equipment
• Pools, Pavilions, and Beaches
• Roads (Shared with the Village)
• Recreation Lots (30 on Water, 21 Off)
• Security (Shared with the Village)
• Finances
• Lake Management

The Village of Roaming Shores is one of the newer municipalities in the State of Ohio and Ashtabula County.

The Village's responsibilities include Police, Water and Sewer, Zoning, Building Codes, maintenance of the Lake Roaming Rock Dam, and other duties involved in administering a municipality.

The Ashtabula Mall is just 30 minutes away. In addition, throughout the area there is a diversity of shopping for all. Millcreek Mall in Erie, PA is 60 minutes away. Eastwood Mall in Niles, OH. is 45 minutes, and the Great Lakes Mall in Mentor, OH is 40 minutes from the Shores.

• Boating: 21-foot length limit on power boats with unlimited horsepower
• 28-foot length limit on pontoon boats
• Temporary docking at Clubhouse, some recreational lots, main pool and main beach.
• Water Skiing: Absolutely the best private lake water skiing area in Ohio with a 7-mile ski loop.
• Fishing: Excellent population of large and smallmouth bass along with great fishing for crappie, silver and channel cat, perch and bluegill... all bolstered with an active stocking program by the Fishing Club. In 2007, the Association stocked the lake with 1,400 Walleye Fingerlings.
• Swimming: 4 heated swimming pools (2 adult and 2 kiddy pools, all are heated) are available to all current members along with two lakeside sandy beaches. Well maintained restrooms are available at all beaches and pools. Changing rooms are available at both beaches and pool complexes.
• Golf Courses and Camping: There are several public courses. Four of them are within a 20 minute drive from the Shores. There are many nearby campgrounds. (Overnight camping is not permitted within Roaming Shores.)
